Britannia Hotel is located in Barrio Amón, only five minutes walking distance from the principal attractions of San José—such as the National Museum, Plaza de la Cultura, the pre-Colombian Gold Museum, and the principal financial centers, restaurants and nightspots.

Getting Here.

The hotel is Located in Barrio Amón, downtown San José, just six blocks north of the National Theater. The hotel is located on 3rd Street Between 9th and 11th Avenues.

From the International Airport: Juan Santa María :

1. Take the international highway (Interamericana) to San José.
2. Make a left on to Paseo Colon—follow this avenue until it becomes 2nd Avenue (San José’s prinicpal street).
3. Turn left at the Central Park (on the right with a yellow pavilion).
4. After 5 blocks turn right.
5. Go for 2 blocks and turn left on to 3rd Street.
6. Go for 2 more blocks—we are on right side corner.

The hotel offers a pick-up or drop-off service to the International Airport: Juan Santa María upon request (the fee is $24. This rate might change without previous notice).
